Budgeting as a Married Couple
Does anyone know of any good budgeting software for MAC users?
Now that Mr. Apple and I are hitched, we’re really trying to budget as a married couple. Budgeting was easier when I was single since I knew what I was bringing in and what items I was spending on. But now that we’re married, everything doubles up – the food expense, the traveling expense, the income (yeah!). We have our own separate accounts, we also have a joint account, a shared credit card, our personal debt, and future investments. Though we think we have a good handle on our current financial situation, it wouldn’t hurt to narrow it down to exact figures. Every penny does count!
Anyone have any good suggestions on software for MACs and Windows?
I think this would be great information for those brides who are still in the engagement stage. You can get started now and it would be an easier transition when you do get married.

Hi, just browsing! We are recent Mac users and don’t know of any good budgeting software for MACS yet, but Quicken 2007 is great for the PC. Also nothing wrong with using the good ol’ excel spreadsheets.
sorry I cant help – not a mac user!
but i’ve been well – how’s life been for you? just working, working, working for me :-p
I just use Excel for my budgeting. Also, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your chinese dress made?
oooh i completely forgot about all the stores down in that area! we’ve been antiquing up in mckinney for furniture too – I found this super cute dresser, but it was still outrageously priced!
ryc: haha – I spent all week freaking out and basically stressing out because I thought I was preggo, but the test turned up negative, but it might be implantation that’s making me cramp/spot, etc., so i’m goign to wait 2 weeks until my period is supposed to be and then take a test. Good luck with yours! you SO need to take one too! 2 weeks late is a long time girl!
